Remember Me!

I find it awfully annoying how the new Blogger doesn't remember me.

The old Blogger used to remember me just fine. If I checked the little box, it would recall my username and password whenever I logged onto the site so that I wouldn't have to enter the information every time.

The new Blogger offers to do that for me, but even though I check the box, it doesn't follow through. I still have to re-enter my info every time.

Do you fellow Bloggers have that problem, too?

Back in Business!

YAY!!!

I never realized how much I love this blog. I was SO SAD when it disappeared. I feared it would be gone forever!

See what happened was, I tried to switch to Blogger in Beta, and *poof!* my blog vanished. Now that it's returned, I'm blogging in beta, so that's pretty cool. I had to REALLY bug Blogger to get it back, though. I wrote them an e-mail and posted tons of messages on a Blogger-Help message board.

I have some things I've been aching to post, but it's late and I'm too tired to do so right now.

Maybe early next week.

Time to Say Bye-Bye

[I tried posting this last night, but Blogger wasn't cooperating.]

Speaking of Emily and the phone, here's another thing she's been doing that we find pretty interesting (and neat!).

Whenever I'm on the phone, Emily says "bye-bye" before I even have a chance to do so. Somehow she can tell when I'm about to end the conversation (whether I've been talking for 5 minutes or half an hour).

I suspect she can tell that the conversation's almost over by the inflections in my voice. When we're about to say goodbye to others, we as people tend to slow down our speech and the speech seems to get a bit sing-songey. An example: "Ooookay, aaalright..." and then, of course, "see you later" or "bye". Before I can even say goodbye, though, Emily says it for me.

I'll be talking to my Mom or Stephen and I'll say, "Alrighty then..." or something similar and Emily will wave her pudgy little hands and say in the cutest baby girl voice, "Bye-bye!"

Our little girl's so gosh-darned smart it kills me!
