In the Womb

A program called In the Womb is airing tonight (6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET) on the National Geographic Channel. We get the NGC since we have digital cable, but I don't think that basic cable subscribers get it. You probably get it if you have satellite TV, but I'm not sure.

The show looks pretty neat. I don't know much about it, other than it looks like a technologically updated version of
The Miracle of Life. From what I understand, the program shows the baby at various stages of growth in the womb. With the advanced ultrasounds they have available now, I bet the images will be fascinating.

"With ground-breaking photography, computer graphics, and 4-D imaging, In the Womb reveals this amazing process as the first heart cells begin to beat, the nerve cells flicker to life, and the senses develop."

Info and a preview are
here.

I just thought I'd share in case anyone's interested. (Sorry for the late notice -- I just found out about this myself.)

Enjoy!
