- For a very special person, who is going through a very difficult time right now; that he may find what he's looking for and be given a chance, especially considering he's worked so hard for so long!
- For my uncle, who's elderly and extremely ill and is dying in the hospital. He has diabetes and had to have a leg amputated due to an infection and negligence on his wife's part. His wife was negligent when it came to his care at home, and she has now left him in the hospital by himself. He's lonely and likely on his deathbed.
- For my aunt, who I just learned is sick in the hospital. I don't know the specifics yet, but it sounds serious.
- For a former classmate of mine who recently died from pancreatic cancer, and for the loved ones he left behind. Zdravko just got married last month. He was a very successful wrestler at my alma mater, and he went on to wrestle and receive his bachelor's degree at Brown University. His family suggests that donations be made to the Andrew Warshaw Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute in Zdravko's name. (This is a very reputable organization. My brother actually studied and did extensive research on pancreatic cancer under Andrew Warshaw.) May Zdravko rest in peace.
- For those who have died from the swine flu; for those who have it, that they may make a full recovery; and for those of us who do not have it, that we are able to avoid contracting the virus.
Update (05-04-09):
My uncle died at midnight in the hospital.
My aunt is doing better (for the time being).

A lot of special needs, but never too much for Him. I will remember all of you. It looks like our first swine flu case arrived in Minneapolis today, so we're all going to be in the same spot. Love ya, Sharon
Wow! I like the new look of your blog, too.
Praying here too!!!
Thank you, ladies!!
