Emily's All Better

No more cold for Miss Emily. Actually, she was almost back to normal on Friday, except for a lingering cough. She had the cough all weekend, but it really only showed up at night, when we were all trying to sleep. ;-) Last night wasn't bad, though. In fact, I don't remember a single cough in bed. (We co-sleep.) Maybe she's kicked it, too. If not, I'm sure it'll be gone very soon.

The advice nurse at the pediatrician's office told me that the cold could last 10-14 days, so three ain't bad, considering! I guess we got off pretty lucky. Good thing. It's no fun to see your baby suffer. Well, suffer's probably not the best word... I'll go with uncomfortable instead!

Speaking of the Queen Bee, I better tend to her. She's playing with the phone, and I just know police and EMTs will be at our door 10 minutes from now saying, "Someone here dialed 911, Ma'am. Is everything okay??"
